Momma's Song.

Alex smiled.
"Yes, yes it is. So... I hope you don't mind me asking but, is your mother okay?"

Kevin laughed.
'I dont know what to call him. He is bitter but he is momma. He will knock the shit out of ya in a heart beat. He is lonely....He misses you more than anything." Kevin heaved a sigh, he loved him momma, he hated this for him.

Alex sighed.
"I miss him like hell too. Let him know that please. But he can't be that lonely. He has Quincy."
Sydney bit her lip.
"Daddy..."
She turned to Kevin.
"Let me explain that to him. If you do it right now the way you told me... well it won't be pretty."

"It wasn't that pretty to be around the when momma found out what happened. If Quincy wasn't already dead he would have been then. And his going to throw that back at me, I don't like Quincy that much, I enjoy when momma yells at him." Kevin nodded to himself. "Speaking of that they are probably fighting as we speak. But yeah you know him better, break it to him gently"

"Alright you two are confusing the hell outta me. Rick, little help here?" He chuckled.
"Daddy..." Sydney took his hand and led him into the kitchen where they were alone. She explained everything and her father was in tears by the time she finished.
"You tell Critter where I went if he asks. I think you know."
Alex stormed out of the kitchen straight past everyone.
"Nice meeting you son. I'll be back. Eventually." He growled as he ran out the door.
"Fuck." Sydney groaned.

Kevin looked at Sydney. "Should we follow him? Where in the fuck is he going?" Kevin started to go after him.

Mike was alone, like always. He had come back to the park and decided he to simply take a seat on the swings. Mike slowly rocked himself back and forth, his head hung low as he contemplated everything. He and Quincy had fought, it had gotten nasty. Mike was left with a bruise on his arms from where Quincy shook him and Quincy had a busted lip from where Mike had hit him. Quincy had taken Aaron, not like Mike gave a fuck. He was simply waiting for his baby to come back, waiting for Kevin.

"I think he went to the cemetery to ask momma where Quincy is. And then he is going to attempt and beat the fuck out of him." Sydney shook her head. "And I think we should go after him but wait a sec first."

Kevin sighed and shook his head.
"He can't find Quincy, he wont be there. If they did fight it probably got violent. So, momma is alone in the grave yard and Quincy probably took Aaron and left, which momma dont give a fuck, he never does."

Sydney sighed.
"Well that could be good..." She blushed and looked down ashamed. Critter was right there and she was about to say how she hoped her mother and father would get back together. Her father had told her that she was allowed to want that but it was rude to voice her opinions in front of Critter.

Kevin hugged his sister and waited. He was curious as to what his father and mother were doing.

Alex had stopped at the cemetery for the first time in a few months.
"MIKE!" He called. He was incredibly pissed and he wanted to know where that ass was right now.

Mike's head snapped up. He stared at Alex in wonder for a few minutes.
"Alex? What are you doing here?"
Alex hadn't been to see him in forever, only God and Mike knows how long.

"Well first I came to do this." He hugged Mike tightly to his chest. "I miss and love you so much." He kissed Mike's cheek.

Mike was silent for a moment before letting his arms wrap around Alex's neck. "I miss you....I miss you so much. I miss your smile, I miss your voice, I miss waking up every morning to your sweet face, I miss you holding me, I miss you being my own personal heater, I miss having someone to talk to, I miss you making love to me, I miss you loving me more than anything, I miss you so much, so, so, so much." Mike had buried his face in the crook of Alex's neck.

"Baby..." Alex frowned. "I miss you so much. I'm so sorry...." He wanted Mike back and he knew that was the truth but it was far too late now..

"I don't blame you Alex, I want more than anything for you to be happy. So if Critter makes you the happiest the hey, im so glad you have him."
Mike was trying to swallow the lump in his throat.

"Mike... I'm not happy. I haven't been happy for a while now." He shook his head slowly.

"Alex baby....You said you loved him more? How are you not happy with him?" Mike had let to let go.

"I still love you. Knowing how much you're hurting... and seeing you pregnant with a baby that wasn't mine..." Alex shook his head. "I just, didn't know handle that... but now I know what really happened. Kevin told Syd and Syd told me. And I know exactly how I'm going to handle it now."

"Alex, what are you getting at? What all do you know? Oh God, what all does Kevin know?"

"That Quincy pretty much raped you." Alex closed his eyes, clenching his fists.

Mike's breath hitched, his stroked Alex's cheek.
"Im so sorry....I refused to let him touch me and I sure as hell refused to have his kid...and the night you said you loved Critter more....I just fell apart, he took advantage of that. I didnt even remember, I was just sore the next day and I had no idea why....then I found out I was pregnant...its was to late for abortion. I had to have him..I feel wretched, like a piece of shit, thats my child and I dont even want him....I hate him...."

"Mike... I, there's something I haven't been mentioning. To anyone." He paused. "I don't really know anymore. I think I lied that night.I think I thought it was the truth, at the time.... but I love you. So much. I just forgot. Lane healed the hole in my heart so I thought I loved him more. But I really don't think I do... And now, now it's too late. I can't hurt him like that. I do love him."

Mike simply hung his head.
"I love you Alex...I promise I'm not with anyone else....Quincy did that once and I didnt even know...I was wasted....And Aaron...God bless him, I dont want him, im trying but I dont...its hell, just hell..."

"I know baby... but I just don't know what to do..." Alex sighed.
