"That dont matter, I hit my baby....I cant do that, im weird like that I guess." Mike frowned.

Rick sighed, hugging Mike to his chest.
"Well I love you and I don't like hurting you. SO don't do that shit again."

Mike laughed lightly.
"Awwww your love your new momma? And I wont unless I deserve it..Or I wont make YOU do it."

"Yes I do love my new momma." He smirked. "ANd no, you don't ask anyone to hit you got it?"

"But Rick....I wont ever get over what I did but now at least I know I got what I deserved for it."

Rick sighed.
"Well don't hurt your babies anymore and we won't have a problem." He stuck his tongue out.

Mike looked away. That made his heart clench, he and Rick both knew he hurt his babies far too much.

rick sighed.
"Mike no, I didn't mean it like that. It was one time Mike."

"Rick...I hurt my babies, when we were alive I made the house unstable and it was hell. I burst into tears at the drop of a hat...I fuck everything up." He sighed and patted Rick's shoulder. "Imma go take a nap on the couch, I dont feel welcome in my room."

"Mike, you didn't mess everything up, trust me. Alex has told me. You were the only thing that kept him stable at times."

"I dont know what he said but he is full of shit." Mike rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"Mike don't be like that. Alex loves you so much. And he was dead serious. If it wasn't for you, sometimes I think he'd have killed himself."

"Rick he was fine without me, better off even. Lane took care of him and kept him stable.....Lane is better for him."

"But he doesn't want Lane. He left Lane for you. Remember that." Rick nodded.

"I know baby....I know."
But was that the right thing.

"Then act like it. He loves you more." Rick kised his mother's head.

"But im not good for him and I hate that, he would be better off with Lane and I hate to think about it."

"No he wouldn't be Mike. He needs you in his life. You didn't see him those last few months. He was a mess."

"I just don't know, its all so different since I died.....My feeling havent changed for him, they never will. He is still...everything, I put him above all else and I will never love anything like I love him. He said that one, got me to believe it, and then I was told he loved Lane more. I fucking hate how It still stings even when he is with me."

"oh Mike, baby, c'mere." Rick was always very protective and caring if you got to know him well. He pulled Mike to his chest

Mike let his son in law hold him as his body racked with sobs he refused to let out.

"Mike you can cry. It's alright." Rick cooed as he stroked Mike's hair.

"I cant cry on you baby, you got enough to worry about with Kevin and your baby and death and alot of other shit."

"Well your my mother in law so it's my job to take care of you now too."

"Im fine.......I have dealt with this alone for a long time...I dont need help..." He bit his lip.
