Can't Go On

Dustin ignored him.
Riley frowned, following his lover and pulling Lance close.
"Baby...."
He didnt know what to say...

"Its fine Riley. You can go home if you want...." He looked away.

"Baby why would I do that? I love you....I want to be here with you Lance..." He was NOT leaving.

"Do you want your ring back?" He sighed. Riley had only proposed because of the baby...

Riley paused, sitting down and opening his hand.
"Lemme thee it."

Lance sighed, taking off the ring and dropping it in Riley's hand.
His heart hurt...
His baby was gone...
IT had never been there in the first place...
And he bet his father would be fucking glad...

Riley looked it over, frowning at Lance.
"Why'd you give it to me? It dont look like there ith anything wrong with it. No thones are misthing."

"You... only wanted to marry me cause of the baby.." He said.

Riley frowned, taking his hand and slipping the ring back on.
"No....The baby ruthed me. I want to marry you Lance....But Lance...thith giveth me the chance to plan now. I can get you an actual ring. Tho keep thith, not ath an engagement ring but ath a....Promithe ring. It prometheth that when we are a bit older ill propothe with a diamond ring....It promitheth that one day, you will be my huthband and....we will have babieth, one day. But for now your my lover and boyfriend and....Im okay with that for now. Pluth thith ring tellth people your taken." Riley cracked a goofy grin.

Lance hugged Riley tightly, burying his head in his shoulder.
"Baby... that means a lot to me... I love you..."

"I love you too Babe." Riley took a deep breath, laying down and hugging Lance close.
"thideth....I dont want you having a baby tho young....Could hurt you." He pecked Lance's cheek.

"I'm so sorry... for getting your hopes up Riley..." He sighed.

"No baby, I wath thcared. I mean....Your everything to me and I juth.....I would have loved it but not with you hurt."

"I was scared at first but... I wanted it so bad.... and it was never even there."

"I know....You would have been a good mommy." Riley kissed his nose.

"And you would have been the perfect father." He sighed. "Well lets handle one problem at a time. The baby is taken care of.Lets see if dad will talk to me or if he still thinks I'm a whore." He stood and went for the stairs.

Riley took his hand.
"Hey now, im sure your father does not think your a whore...."
Dustin was upset. Lance was so young....He didnt want that for his child, and he didnt want his child his his FIRST COUSIN.

"Hey maybe I am one." Lance shrugged and squeezed Riley's hand. He plopped down beside Dustin on the couch. "Hey daddy." He waited for a response even though he knew one wasnt coming.

Dustin just reloaded his gun, and sat it on the floor, picking up another one and starting on it.

Lance kept speaking.
"So, funny story daddy. Guess what?" He paused as if waiting for a response. "I'm not pregnant. Test was jank. Yupp, i'm not pregnant. Thats just fuckin great aint it?"

Dustin, ran his ran up the barrel, making sure to get it nice and clean, acting like he heard nothing Lance had said.

Lance pursed his lips. He would get his father to talk somehow... no matter how much lying it took or what he had to say.
"So daddy I've been thinkin, I need to get me a job don't I? What do ya think about me bein a stripper? I think I'd make some good money don't you agree? Riley's always tellin me I'm sexy."

Dustin ignored that too, he was not stupid. He would not let his son stoop that low, besides, he had a boyfriend who wouldnt allow that.

"Eh, maybe not. Oh I know. A few nights ago, Riley and I were fucking daddy. And I videotaped it. Maybe I could sell that. Pornstars make damn good money don't they?" Lance continued on.

Dustin took a deep breath, cracking his neck and cocking his gun, pretending Lance wasn't there, and he hadn't struck a nerve.
