Wrapped In Rain, Surrounded By Pain

"Why don't you come with me? You can get him out from under the couch." Quincy lifted his son up.

"Okay daddy." He nodded and stood, following his father.

Quincy carried Brayden like he was a baby, hugging him tight. He was not always close but he sure as hell loved his son, he would die for his child.

Brayden relaxed in his father's strong chest and he really felt like a child again..

"You know Bray. I do love you right babe?" He was not always the easiest to talk to, or the most understanding but this was his baby...And out of his kids he favored Brayden, Hayden and Aaron.

"Course daddy... I love you too." He nodded.

Quincy nodded.
"And if you ever need me you will come to me right? Ill do anything for you baby."

"Of course daddy." He nodded, pecking his cheek.

Quincy got to the home and knocked, smiling at Higgy as he answered the door.
"Angel is still under the couch." He shrugged, smiled at Brayden and kissed his cheek.

Brayden smiled softly as he stepped inside and knelt by the couch, peeking under at Angel.

Angel was the same, sobbing, shaking, ball of nothing he had been when they first met.

"Angel baby its me. Brayden." He sighed.

Angel squeaked, his bright blue eyes snapping over to look at Brayden,
"B-Br-Bray...?"

"Mhm, its Bray." He nodded, offering a hand to him, under the couch.

Angel didn't move.
"Does Bray still h-hate me?"

"No babe. I never hateed you I'm just hurt is all." He sighed.

"Angel is sorry Bray is hurt." The boy whispered.

brayden sighed.
"Well Angel is the one who hurt Bray..."

Angel blinked.
"Angel is sorry he hurt Bray, Angel doesn't understand wh-what he did wrong...Angel was trying to be h-happy since he couldnt have the one he wanted..."

"But... Angel told Gabriel that if Gabriel would let him go... Angel still wouldn't come back to Bray."
Gabriel had called and rubbed that in his face...

"Angel knows better. Angel knows that Bray loves Higgy now and he wouldn't be welcomed...Angel also knows the best thing would be to just make Gabriel happy, less beating, also Angel does love Gabriel but Brayden is his first love...Brayden is his hope."

"But if Bray had to pick between Higgy and Angel.. he would pick Angel. What hurts Bray is that Angel would pick Gabriel."

"How does Bray know who Angel would pick? Angel doesn't even know that....Angel never gets to decide those things...Brayden makes Angel happy....Gabriel some times makes him happy but Gabriel hurts him and ANGEL IS NOT A MASOCHIST!" The insane boy's bottom lip trembled.

Brayden sighed heavily.
"Brayden is sorry for calling Angel that. Bray just thought Angel must be if he loved Gabriel even though he hurt him."

"Angel loves Gabriel because even though Gabriel is mean...Gabriel is all Angel has....Gabriel gave Angel a home when no one else would but Angel misses Brayden and would love to be with him...If only he could. But Angel knows it wont happen..."
