Wrapped In Rain, Surrounded By Pain

"Riley thats the thing though. I just... dont' want to anymore. I can't."

Riley blinked.
"Thats heartbreaking but alright...."
Angel had nothing now...

Brayden couldnt take it anymore.. he'd given up....

Riley let him go and informed Angel.
The boy was not the same, instead of that tiny spark of hope it was nothing, he had no hope. He was just waiting to die.

Brayden stopped crying and curled up on his side, looking at the ceiling wtih heartbroken eyes..

Riley sighed, Angel had left Cade here again, he was sitting on the couch and just thinking.
He didn't like how hurt Brayden was..

Cade looked over at the boy.
"Why'd he make momma cry?" He asked.

"Well....He....Is mad because he wanted your momma to have his baby, he wanted you to be his and your not and he...in his head your momma chose your dad over him and he loved your momma so he got mad and he doesnt wanna love your mother anymore, plus he called him a masochist, meaning he likes when your father hurts him and that really upset your momma."

"I don't like him." He noted, laying back on the couch

Riley looked over.
"How come?"

"HE made momma cry." He shrugged.

"Your dad makes him cry." Riley retorted, cocking his head to the side.

"I don't like my dad much either." He nodded.

Riley smiled.
"Why love your momma so much? He is crazy, cant protect you, cant protect himself he is just....why?"

"He's not crazy." Cade shook his head. "THats WHY I love him. He can't protect himself... someone has to stand up for him."

"Kid thats not love, thats pity." Riley nodded at him.

"Thats just part of it." He frowned. "I love him cause he loves me more than anything and he protects me and... lots of other reasons."

'He doesnt protect you and just because he loves you...Kid where are you coming from I mean...its sweet because I love my momma like that too but still."

"He does protect me." He frowned. "If not for him dad could've beaten me whenever he wanted..."

"He just hit you Cade, Angel didnt stop him." Riley nudged him.

"But this was the first time. Look, you got a problem with my momma jsut say it." He glared.

"I think he is an unfit parent and he needs to be locked up in a mental institution." But Angel was his brother and despite what he said he loved him.

Cade stood and rose to his full height. It wasn't much but he was big for his age.
"I think you're an asshole who needs to shut his mouth." He snapped

"Thats fine, ill hush, you problem will be solved and in a few years when your father finally kills him my problem will be solved too." he shrugged.

Cade glared and walked out of the house. He didn't care he was supposed to stay here, Riley was pissing him off.
