I Will Stand By You Forever

Critter simply shook his head and continued to drive. He had been hurt before and he could take pain.

"Pull over." Alex said firmly. "Please."

Critter sighed and did as instructed.
He didn't look at Alex.
Alex might had seen the tars welling up in his eyes.

Alex crawled over onto Lane's lap and placed a hand on each side of his face.
He softly kissed his lips.
"Baby, we just got married. I don't want to fight with you. I love you and if you really want me to make love to you I will. I just didn't want to cause you so much pain. I saw how bad it hurt you when we tried this before."

Critter covered his face with a hand. He didn't want to fight either....Alex had no problem topping Mike.

"Baby, what's the matter? Talk to me. You can tell me anything. I thought you knew that."

That stung.
Critter had heard him tell Mike the same.
Maybe Alex did still love Mike.

"Darlin' please tell me what's on your mind. I can't make you feel better if I don't know what the problem is."

"You had no problem topping Mike and you said the same to him....I heard you." Critter admitted, salty tears in his blue eyes.

"Oh darlin." Alex sighed and hugged his husband.
"Baby, Mike wasn't a virgin when I met him. You know that. So it's different. It wouldn't hurt him as bad. And ask him, there were times I refused to make love to him because he was too tight. It means I care. And baby, yes I did say that to him. Because both of you are the two most important things in my life. And I don't want either of you to think you can't tell me something."

Critter sighed and hugged Alex to his chest, pressing him there firmly.
"I love you."

Alex wrapped his arms tightly around Lane.
"I love you too. You know I do."

"I know..." He rested his head on Alex's shoulder. He didn't want to fight with his husband.

"Let's go home. And I'll keep my promise."Alex gave him a smile.

Critter nodded and moved Alex aside before driving them home.

When they arrived Alex took his husband's hand and led him to the bedroom. Luckily, Cameron was staying with her grandparents and Sydney was with Rick. They had the house to themselves.

Critter was very nervous now as he was led to the bed room. But he wanted this, he wanted it so bad...

Alex took his shirt off along with Lane's.
"Baby you sure about this?" He asked, reaching for the zipper on his pants.

Critter nodded firmly even though his heart beat loud in his chest and his stomach had butteflys.

"Alright. But if at any time, it hurts too bad or I do something wrong., or even if you just need a break tell me." Alex said letting his boxers and pants fall to the ground.

Critter nodded as he took off his own pants before shucking out of his boxers too. "How do you want me?"

Alex contemplated this.
"Lay on your stomach." He commanded, kissing his lips softly.

Critter nodded before going to the bed and laying as he was instructed, waiting for his husband.

Alex nervously straddled his husband placing kisses down his neck and back. He'd asked Lane to lay on his stomach so he wouldn't have to see the pain in his eyes.

Critter tried to relax, tried very hard but he just couldn't. He trusted Alex but he was still a little scared. Anyone would be.
