Alex quickly shook this out of his mind. He was not budging.
"Well I want Mike."

"Liar, Alex you know you can't lie to me. I know, I see in your eyes and you want Lane you will have Lane."

"Quinton, you want him too. And you're better for him. The way I feel with Mike, like I always have to be strong, I know that's how Lane feels with me and I'd never want to make him feel like that. You can be strong for him Quinton. I used to be able to but I can't."

"Alex, Lane is a strong man. He loves you more than anything. Now he can love you, he can be strong for you but you cant hurt him like you did. Sarah went over there so im sure she has already told Lane whats up. Lane does not mind being strong for you."

"I just don't want him to feel like he has to." Alex sighed.

"Alex, he had always felt like that. You cant change him when it come to that, no one can."

Alex frowned.
"I don't like it... I've always had to until I met him."

"Alex your not Lane. And you have had to been strong just don't hurt him like you did."

"Quinton... she's probably teling them right now..." Alex looked up at him pleadingly.

"I know she is and im sorry Alex, its too late for me to stop her and you just need Lane."

"But I need Mike too." Alex cried. "And I know Lane will be fine eventually. But Mike won't."

Quinton cursed but pulled Alex into his arms.
"Alex, you can only have one of them and Sarah told me you needed and wanted Lane."

"But I choose MIKE! Why isn't anyone l-listening to me?!" Alex bawled not caring that this was not exactly a flatering first impression.

Quinton just held Alex tightly, he was good at this, he used to hold him baby brother when he was upset.
"Alex, dont do this to yourself."

"It's too late. I've done it ever since the day I told Lane I loved him more. My heart is split in fucking half."

"If you love him more then he is who you should be with Alex."
He sighed sadly as Sarah entered the room and sat down.,

Alex glared at her.
"You told them didn't you?"

"Yeah, I did Alex."
She kissed his cheek and patted Quinton's shoulder.

"Well? What happened?" Alex sighed, there was no use fighting it now.

"Well, Lane just sorts glared at me and told me to stay out of his business and he would be by soon to talk to you. Mike....Mike did not reply, he just sat there and started at me with those void blue eyes." She shivered.

"Sarah... can I go over there now?" Alex sighed. There was still a chance. He could convince Lane and Mike that Sarah was lying...

"No damnit! All your going to do is hurt Lane and yourself. You have hurt Lane enough and Mikes so fucking screwed up now because of this I dont even want you near him."

Alex growled, forcing himself to stand and run. He hurt all over, he could barely limp, let alone run but he had to. He ran the fastest he ever had, he outran Quinton, finally collapsing at Daffy's doorstep where Lane and Mike were.

Daffy answered the door. He looked down at Alex and sighed.
"You don't deserve this." He shook his head. "Lane the door!"
Lane stood up and walked over to Daffy, his eyes landing on Alex and in a heart beat Lane had picked him up and sat him in his bed.
"Alex, im sure Sarah and Quinton will be here to take you home soon. What do you want?"

Alex swallowed. This was going to hurt. Him and Lane.
"I wanted to tell you Sarah was lying..."
