I Dream Of Death

Critter laughed.
"You really cant stand anyone else loving him can you?"

Alex looked down and shook his head.
"Not at all..."

"Then how come im allowed to hold him?"
Lane looked down to the feverish man in his arms.

"Well cause I know you're just holding him cause you care about him as a friend... right? If you like him as more we got a problem..."

Lane raised a brow.
He would play this, he anted to see what sort of problem there might be and he did have a small crush on Mike but it was easily taken care of. He just needed to see just how much Alex did love Mike.

"What if I like him for more?"

"Lane... do not fucking do this right now." Alex said, voice almost a whisper.

Lane weighed his options. He needed to know how Alex would react or else there was no way he would know exactly how to handle this.

"You brought it up." Lane nuzzled the crook of Mike's neck.

"Lane fucking McCormick. Quit it. You know what that does to me. Now knock it the hell off."

Lane smirked.
He didnt like this but he had to see.
He kissed Mike's lips once more. "And if I don't?"
He hated hurting his husband.

Alex growled, it was like he had no control over himself. What he did was just instinct. He rared back and punched Lane square in the jaw.
He gasped.
"I... I'm sorry..."

He knocked Lane over the couch and onto the floor, Mike spilling out on his lap and onto the floor opposite his side of the couch. Lane sat up and popped his jaw, he didn't say anything he just rubbed his aching cheek.
Alex loved Mike enough to strike him.

"I'm so sorry baby..." Alex whispered. "I really didn't mean to hit you. Especially not that hard..."

Lane felt it, his jaw was broken, or cracked or something.
He slowly stood up and glared down at Alex.
"Is he okay?"
It hurt to talk.

Alex felt tears well up in his eyes. He went over and checked on Mike. THen he nodded.

Critter moved back and plopped back down in his spot on the couch. He needed some ice but he didn't feel like going to get it. Critter reached down and pulled Mike from the floor, laying him back on the couch.

"Baby... say something please. I'm so sorry." He officially had a problem. He had hit both of his husbands...

"My jaw hurts, I need ice." Critter mussed before getting up and going to the kitchen, coming back a few minutes later with a bag of ice pressed to his cheek.

"I told you to knock it off..."Alex murmured, looking down at his feet.

Critter laughed and pulled Alex down into his lap.
"I was fucking with YOUR man, I deserved that."

Alex gave a small smile.
"Maybe you did.. just a little."

"Hey Boo, you do realize you just knocked the piss outta me for him. Are you sure you dont love us equally?"

"Maybe..." Alex murmured, pondering this.

"Maybe? You just broke my jaw for a maybe?" Critter pouted as he looked over at Mike.

"I've just always been protective over Mike like that. I don't know why I'm not like that with you.."

Critter pulled Mike back into his lap.
"You love us equal?"
