I Dream Of Death

"Im sure." Mike sighed, he didnt know if he was coming or going with Alex.

Alex sighed.
"Here we go. Lane's strong. You're sensitive. He makes me feel safe. You make me feel loved. He isn't afraid to hurt me, he knows when I need it. You love me too much to hurt me. Not counting Chris, he was the first to top me, make me feel that good. You always let me top you, no matter how much it hurt, and you had my children because of it. He's big and sometimes I like that. Sometimes I want a big strong man by my side. You're small. And sometimes I like that. Someitimes I need you to just hold. To hug, to love. And you are BOTH amazing, wonderful men that I don't deserve to call baby. I could keep going on for days.."

Mike sighed and rested his chin on Alex's shoulder. He still felt inferior to Lane but Alex made him feel loved, like Alex needed him too. It was strange how Alex could do that, make him feel so good but so bad at the same time.

Quinton had Mike's things packed and thrown over his strong shoulders. "Well Mikey, you going or staying?"

Mike stayed put but whispered in Alex's ear.
"Your choice Alex, and I coming or going? If I go im gone if I stay im yours."

"Please stay with me Mikey." Alex whispered back.

"Quinton, I wanna stay." Mike turned to the big man who grinned at him and put his things back. Mike hugged Quinton, if anything he would miss the big man. Quinton chuckled and kissed the top of his head. "Its not goodbye Mikey, its see you later."

Before he left he pulled Alex aside.
"Im going to be straight up with you, first off that man is in no way shape or form Critter and you don't try and make him like that. Secondly what he wouldn't tell you was that I beat the pure dowg shit outta my brother, I told him not to say anything so he didn't. Don't be mad at him for that, it was not his place to tell you, it was mine. Dustin has been taken care of."

Alex was not usually affectionate with strangers but he wrapped his arms tightly around Quinton.
"Thank you. Thank you so so so much. I will never be able to repay you for this. Mike would never let me hurt Dustin for some reason although he has deserved it so many times. Thank you."

Quinton laughed and hugged him back.
"He wont even look at Mike now, to me its funny. He was so cruel and now he is scared to look at him. Mike's safe. And if you wanna repay me you take care of Mike."

"That's fucking great." Alex couldn't help but smile at that information. "And I will, don't worry Quinton."

Quinton nodded and kissed Sarah's cheek before leaving the house. He went back home and helped his brother with the yard work.

Mike sat down on the couch after Quinton left.
"He's a good man Alex."

"I can tell. I think we could be great friends." Alex laughed, still giddy about what Quinton did to DAffy.

"He told you didn't he? Your way to happy about it." He shook his head.

"And you are way too not happy about it." Alex smiled. "You aren't happy at all that the man who was abusing you will leave you alone now?"

"I don't like seeing people hurt. I know what he did and im glad I dont have to worry anymore but unless they hurt you or someone I care about then its not worth the a smile."

"But he did hurt me. He hurt me by hurting you." Alex sighed, smile fading.

Wow, Alex did care about that?
A small smile danced on Mike's lips as he held open his arms.
"Come love me."

"Anytime, anywhere baby." He smirked, pulling Mike into his lap.

Mike laughed as he sat in Alex's lap.
"Didja miss me?"
He was so happy to be back.

"no." Alex said sarcastically, kissing Mike's cheek. "Of course I did!"

"I missed you too. Quinton is good company though." He nuzzled Alex's chest.

"He sounds like it. I really like that man." Alex chuckled.

"Yeah. Where is Critter? He and Quinton are good friends."
He snuggled close to Alex.
"They were in the army together."

Alex raised a brow.
"Where they friends or.. y'know FRIENDS?" Alex said, hoping Mike got what he was hinting at. He wanted to know if he had to play the jealous card.

"Well, they had potential to be good FRIENDS, but Lane had Sarah and he is not the cheating kind and neither is Quinton, and when he didnt have Sarah he had to leave the army to take care of Cameron so they were just only friends, I dont think they have ever kissed or anything b-...Wait yeah the kissed once and that was it, I dont think they saw each other much after that so they settled as friends. You dont need to worry, Lane is your husband and he and Quinton both respect that."

"Alright.." Alex said, a bit wary. "Just making sure."

"Dont worry, they wont do anything they are better than that."
Mike knew them, knew how they were.
