I Dream Of Death

"Nothing is fair anymore b-...Alex."
Lane was too hurt to call him boo right now, his boo wouldn't have hurt him like that.

Alex's lower lip trembled.
"L-lane, what did I do? Why were you crying?"

"Not now Alex, its not anything you should worry about right now."
Lane's jaw clenched.

"Y-you're obviously mad at me..." Alex stil didn't get it. "You won't call me b-boo..."

"Im not mad, im hurt and your not my boo right now Alex, my boo wouldnt have hurt me like that."

"How did I hurt YOU?" Alex asked incredulously. "I didn't go fuck Sarah and make you watch did I?"

"Alex.."
Lane sighed, Alex was being a selfish child, he thought nothing of what he might of done to him and Mike.

"Lane, couldn't you have left me in the bathroom?" He sighed.

"Shut up and go to sleep Alex, you being a jealous, selfish, brat."
Lane loved him but he was not afraid to tell it like it was.

Alex laughed humorlessly.
"Whatever Lane." He stood and walked back into the bathroom.

Lane growled and pulled him back.
"You wanna act like a child ill treat you like one Alex."

"How am I being the goddamn child!? Leave me the fuck alone!" Alex growled.

"You can stop growling, you don't scare me. And your being a brat, and your not even thinking about what he did to me and Mike tonight, but both of us thought about you. You have two men you want and you are crying about it. You can cry if me and Mike were gone but you have us and your just being a spoild baby."

"Don't fucking talk to me." Alex snapped. "You don't know how I'm feeling. You have no clue what is on my mind every second of every hour of every day. So don't go around telling me how to feel!"

"I didn't damnit but maybe if you would clam down and stop being a baby we would all hurt less!"

"Maybe if I'd never met you none of use would be hurting!" Alex screamed, eyes full of tears.

Lane growled and got up, the front door slammed as he left.
Fuck this, he did not need this.
He passed Mike on his way to Daffy's.
He and Alex were done.

Alex cried. And cried. And cried. He cried until there were no more tears.
But hey, on the bright side, there was no one to stop him now. He picked up the razor blade again and sliced everything open. He lay there in a pool of his own blood. Could he bleed to death? The pain was unbearable but he figured since there was no one to save him except Sarah, and she shouldn't be waking up for another few hours, that something had to happen eventually right?
A smile danced on his lips. Maybe, just maybe he'd be able to get away from it all even if it was just for a second.

Mike came home, seen Alex, screamed, and then he promptly fainted. The scream woke Sarah up, she quickly fixed Alex up and put him in bed. Lane moved in with Quinton, all he felt inside was anger now, anger at himself for leaving but it was not his fault, he knew it but that didn't help. Mike was with Daffy, he didn't speak or eat, he just sat in his room. He was void and lifeless. Daffy tried to take care of him, so did Lane, Quinton and Sarah but nothing helped. At this moment Sarah sat in bed with Alex.

Alex hurt all over. It stung.
"Why?" He croaked at Sarah. "God, why couldn't you have let me k-keep bleeding?"

"I wouldnt have killed you and quite frankly blood makes me sick and you were being stupid, you should be ashamed, you have no idea what you have done to Mike and Lane."
Sarah scolded lightly as he carded her fingers though his hair.

Alex looked up at her weakly.
"They have no idea what they're doing to me either. This," He gestured to the still bloody wounds all over his body that would eventually scar. "Is NOTHING compared to what my heart feels like." Alex whispered to her hoarsely.

"Alex, they hurt too you know. They hurt just as much as you. But you have just hurt them more. I have never seen Lane so upset, he wont smile or anything anymore, he is so mad. And Mikey, God our poor Mikey. Even Daffy is worried about him."

"I know Sarah. That's what makes me hurt. Combine their hurt, then add the effect of the two things you love most leaving you at the same time. And bam, there's how i feel right now."

"Alex, they couldn't sit here and look at you after what you did. Mike will always be here but Lane, you'll be lucky if you ever get Lane back, or if you get Mike to talk."
