Surprise........Daddy

"Thank you." Randy said, softly as he put the spoon into her mouth. He waited until he was sure she swallowed before removing it.

Alanna made a face, pouting at Randy.

"You'll thank me in the long run." He sighed, putting the medicine away. He shook his head, he always hated when his parents told him that.

Alanna snuggled close to the warmth coming from Randy.

"C'mere honey." He cooed, picking the small child up. He walked over to the couch by Cody and sat down with her. "You know I don't wanna yell at you."

Alanna nodded, her lips moved as if she were trying to speak, but no sound came.

Randy smiled at the attempt of speech.
"It's okay baby. You'll talk when you're ready."

Alanna kept trying. She really wanted to tell Randy something.

"What's wrong honey?" Randy asked, brow furrowing. He looked at Aiden, hoping he would understand something.

She jumped down and grabbed her flash cards from her bag, handing the heart card to Randy, hoping he'd understand.

Randy smiled widely.
"I love you too 'Lanna."

Alanna smiled, climbing back into his lap.

He chuckled kissing the top of her head.

Alanna leaned up and kissed his cheek.

Randy hoisted Alanna up on his shoulder and draped an arm around Cody as he sat next to him.
"My two little girls." He joked, pecking Alanna's cheek then Cody's.

Alanna giggled when Cody stuck his tongue out at Randy.

"Don't try and hide it Codes, I know your little secret." Randy smirked.

"Th-ut up Orton," Cody muttered.

"Make me." Randy stuck his tongue out, reminding himself of the conversation earlier.

Cody smirked. "Later."

Randy raised an eyebrow, a slight smile on his face as he hopped off the couch, still holding Alanna.
"What exactly are you implying?" Randy smirked.

Alanna giggled at Cody's lisp when he replied "You'll th-ee."

Randy chuckled.
"Even the three year old is laughing at you." He smiled, placing a kiss on Cody's cheek to show him he was only kidding. Truthfully, he loved the feel of Cody's smooth skin under his lips.

Alanna smiled, reaching over to hug Cody.

Randy smiled as Lanna wrapped her tiny arms around his neck. He let go of her lower half as well, seeing how she would react to Cody holding her.
