Surprise........Daddy

"Th-ure thing," Cody smiled.

They ate and went through the day like normal. Occasionally Aiden would start to say something but Randy gave him a look that said 'say it and you're dead.' which seemed to make him shut up.

Aiden rolled his eyes.

Randy narrowed his eyes.
"Isn't it your bed time?" He chuckled

"nope," Aiden grinned.

"I think it is." He lifted Aiden on one shoulder and Lanna on the other.
"Night." He grinned tossing Aiden on the bed and gently laying Alanna beside him.

Aiden glared at him. "You know she won't sleep without you here," Aiden grinned.

Randy grumbled, laying down in between the two children.
"Hate it when you're right."

"Get used to it, I know her better than you do right now," Aiden said, watching Alanna snuggle up to Randy.

"I know you do." Randy hugged Alanna and rolled over to face Aiden.

"i'm surprised she's so close to you," Aiden admitted.

"Me too." Randy said, smiling over at Alanna who was already fast asleep.

"She really trust you," Aiden said.

"I'm glad." Randy nodded. "Now since she is sleeping, ya think you could be good if I go talk to Cody?"

Aiden nodded. "I'll keep an eye on her," he said."

"Thanks." Randy kissed the top of Aiden's head and quietly walked out of the room.

Cody was sitting on the couch.

Randy flopped down beside him.
"So do I get to know how you're gonna make me shut up yet?" Randy said with a smirk.

"Not yet," Cody grinned slyly. "Not til you tell me what you and the young-th-er, were going on about."

Randy sighed.
"Aiden has this crazy idea that... that I like you." He shook his head and waved a hand submissively. He didn't want to completely dismiss the idea but didn't want to confirm it either.

"Yea?" Cody asked. "Well what if I had thi-th crazy idea that I....liked you back?"

Randy's breath hitched in his throat.
"What if I had this crazy idea to do this?" Randy asked with a grin. He leaned in and kissed Cody.

Cody smiled against Randy's lips, kissing him in return.

"Cody you don't know how long I have wanted to do this." Randy smiled, pecking Cody's lips once more. "You can tell, because I didn't even stop to make fun of your li-th-p." He chuckled.

Cody smiled. "You have no idea how long I've wanted you to do that," Cody said.
